Tasters were in awe of the Monk’s Choice and Top Leaf green teas from Mellow Monk. Each tea had such an enveloping aroma and pleasant taste that everyone was relieved we weren’t choosing favorites.

The tea arrives astonishingly fresh via the vacuum sealed foil bag. For some this tea was reminiscent of tea they drank on visits to Japan and never since. Not surprising, because Mellow Monk is authentic and traditional green tea grown by family farmers in Aso Japan, certified under Japan's Eco Farmer program. Each 100 gram or 3.5 ounce packet makes 40 to 50 cups of tea – that’s about 20 cents a cup. There are 7 teas in all, including cold brew ice tea. Love the monk!
