Earth Water Take a look at the Earth Water story. Net proceeds go to United Nations Refugee Agency and the water and packaging are source locally. Read more about non-profit water. Earth Water started in Canada and is new to the US. In Canada they bottle water in biodegradable bottles;in Europe they use Tetra-Pak. Biodegradable packaging is slated for US use soon. Earth Water joins the established Waterkeeper Alliance's Keeper Springs in non-profit water entrepreurship. KeeperSprings is a project of Robert Kennedy Jr. and partners, Chris Bartle and John Hoving, started in 1998. They are two different organizations both bottling water to raise awareness and funds for water related challenges. Even if you've cut back on bottled water, these waters are excellent choices. Sometimes when you are out of the house, picnicing, or organizing kid's sports bottled water is still a necessity. Earth Water is available currently at Whole Foods in the US, but you can ask your local store to carry it. Riverkeeper's water is available at select Whole Foods, Gristede's and individuals can buy direct. Some of the Institutions serving Keeper Springs bottled water are: Boston College, Columbia University, Harvard University, Pace University Law School and the Greater New York Hospital Association.
