Cran Raspberry Rum Relish


Small apartments are not always the venue for your bigger holiday gatherings. That's why we are expert side dishers. Try this alternative to plain cranberrry sauce. So far it's been a hit everywhere we've taken it. Recipe follows.


Cran Raspberry Rum Relish 


12 ounce package cranberries 

1 cup frozen raspberries 

2 cups sugar 

1 cinnamon stick 

6 whole cloves 

1/2 cup water 

1/2 cup rum 


Combine all ingredients in a pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened (10-15 minutes). Cool. Store in refrigerator. Can chill in a mold. Serve with roast pork, turkey or with winter veggies.
